Wotama is located on the southern slopes of the Macedon Ranges. We offer a unique location on a private 4 acre property for that special weekend or midweek experience. “Wotama” (meaning peaceful place) offers a boutique country getaway, surrounded by spectacular views and beautiful gardens. You are a close walk to the local villages and a quick drive takes you over the mountain to the iconic Hanging Rock, Woodend, Kyneton or Daylesford.

Mt Macedon is home to abundant wildlife of kangaroos, koalas, wombats, parrots, ducks and many native birds. This is a perfect location to relax and explore the ranges, gardens, wineries, restaurants and surrounding villages. 

You will be in the heart of the Central Victorian Highlands, whilst located only 45 minutes from the center of Melbourne - our idyllic location feels like a whole world away. This part of Victoria is famous for its inspiring scenery and natural beauty, with nearby local towns hosting country markets, arts, galleries, crafts, culture, shopping and amazing local produce.

If the outdoors and adventure are your ideal - there is an abundance of walking trails, fishing areas, golf courses, cycling or trail bike, horse riding, nature and wildlife. 

Macedon's Honour Avenue has become an Autumnal mecca for those chasing beautiful photos, wedding shots or portraits. The towering Pin Oaks were planted to honour the men and women from the region who enlisted in World War 1.

This 500 metre avenue of Pin Oaks is an annual draw-card for tourists in the Autumn months.
